"Out of Stock" messages during check-out mean that the pipe has already sold, but I have not yet updated the catalog page to reflect its "Sold" status.

I posted a few preview pics of this on Facebook with the caption, "Fins to the left! Fins to the right!" While the wonderful rippling fin/frill is the pipe's most distinctive feature, it made it a real challenge to photograph because a lot of my side views of the pipe just ended up looking like a bent pipe with a really lumpy bowl, as the fin blended visually with the silhouette! It's only when you see it in the 3D pics that you can realize it's really an oval-shanked bent billiard, with the frill as a distinctive styling feature. Probably the upside-down photos convey this best, showing off both the fun ripple as well as the strong age ring blasting of the grain.

I stopped naming Goblins individually a while back, but I'm sorely tempted to call this one Kaiju because something about it reminds me inescapably of the Ultraman monsters. I look at it and all I can see is this:

Beyond that, though, I suppose it works equally well as a kelpie-like creature - It has a very "boggy" personality about it. The ring grain blasting came out surprisingly well, and it actually took some care to make sure the depth and definition of the age rings didn't overwhelm the styling of the fin.

Very Swamp Thing. :D
